Hot spring town sharing its name with a former U.S. President, with life-size statue photo opportunities.

Sharing it's name with a previous President of the United States, Obama is continuously becoming a stopping point for tourists. You can even stop and get a picture with former President Obama, or rather, a wax figure of him. While Obama surely has gained a great amount of attnetion for it's name, it's fame lies in it's boiling onsen.

Local tips

Wash thoroughly at the shower stations before entering the bath. This is non-negotiable etiquette. Bring a small towel but keep it out of the water.
