No.34 Tanema Temple

Tanema-ji is Temple No. 34 on the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, a serene Buddhist site in Kochi known as a place where expectant mothers come to pray for safe childbirth, a tradition that has continued for centuries. The temple grounds are modest but well-maintained, with a quiet garden and a main hall that houses important Buddhist sculptures.
