A beautifully proportioned, keyhole-shaped ancient tomb surrounded by a wide water moat.
One of the most beautifully proportioned keyhole shaped tombs in the Mozu cluster. Its expansive water moat beautifully reflects the immense, forested mound. It provides a tranquil walking experience compared to the busy urban environment surrounding the larger Daisen Kofun.
Local tips
The outer perimeter path is a favorite among locals for walking and offers lovely, unobstructed views of the moat.
