Ninomaru Garden

Part of the ninomaru second compound of Edo Castle. This area was once the location of the palace for the shogun’s heir. The current garden was created in 1964, modeled after a garden from the mid-eighteenth century. It is a chisen kaiyu garden, a stroll garden centered around a pond. PHOTO CAPTIONS 1.
