日光東照宮
The Nikko Toshogu complex is a lavishly decorated shrine compound in the mountains north of Tokyo, built as the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Over a dozen buildings covered in gold leaf and intricate carvings line the cedar-shaded hillside, including the famous three monkeys and sleeping cat panels.
