Negoroji

Negoro-ji is a vast temple complex nestled in forested hills, originally founded in the 12th century as a seminary for the Shingon sect. The Daito (Great Tower) is the largest wooden multi-story pagoda in Japan and a designated National Treasure, its weathered red-brown exterior contrasting beautifully with the surrounding greenery.
