直島パヴィリオン
Sou Fujimoto's mesh-net floating pavilion at Miyanoura Port, free to walk through.
Sou Fujimoto's 2015 contribution: a stainless-steel mesh net pavilion shaped like a 28th, fictional Naoshima island and floated just off the Miyanoura Port shore. Walk through during the day for the play of shadow on the gravel; lit from inside at night for the boat arrivals. Free, always open.
Photogenic at blue hour. Combine with the Red Pumpkin five minutes' walk away for an arrival circuit.
