Nakanoshima Rose Garden

中之島バラ園
310-meter rose garden along the Dojima riverside with 310 varieties; peak May and October.
A 310-meter linear garden along the Dojima riverside, planted with 310 varieties of roses across about 3,700 plants. Peak bloom is mid-May and mid-October; the spring season runs longer due to mixed cultivars. The path is free and open 24 hours, but the rose-tunnel arches in the central section are best in late afternoon when the river light comes from the west.
Mid-October bloom is less crowded than the May peak. The eastern end (closer to Central Public Hall) has the densest plantings and the best photo angle on the brick building behind.
