The Uji tea house Nakamura Tokichi runs a branch inside Kyoto Station, one minute from the platforms. The matcha jelly and tea soba are the same as the original; the wait is fifteen to sixty minutes instead of the Uji flagship's hours. It is the matcha worth queueing for when you have a train to catch.
