Nagoya Station

名古屋駅
Nagoya Station, a transport hub for the whole of Japan, is a city within a station, within a city.
Nagoya Station holds the Guinness record as the world's largest station building by floor area, with twin skyscrapers housing department stores, hundreds of restaurants, and hotels above the platforms. It connects the Tokaido Shinkansen, JR lines, Meitetsu, Kintetsu, and the city subway in one complex. The underground shopping corridors Esca and Gate Walk are the right place for Nagoya's local food: miso katsu, kishimen flat noodles, and tebasaki chicken wings. The JR Central Towers observation deck gives panoramic views over the city and, on clear days, Mount Fuji in the distance.
