Mt. Osorakan
nature
恐羅漢山
At 1,346 meters, Mt. Osorakan is the highest peak in Hiroshima Prefecture and functions as a two-season destination. From December to March it runs four ski slopes covering a 420-meter vertical drop, with gear rental available on the mountain. From April onward the same terrain becomes green and cool, with zip-lining down the grass slopes and whitewater rafting in the ravine below. The on-site campground uses solar and wind energy and is surrounded entirely by forest, with wide-open views of the night sky when weather allows.
