宮島包ヶ浦自然公園
Tsutsumigaura Nature Park is located on the northeastern side of Miyajima Island, one of the large islands in Hiroshima Bay, away from the urbanized area near the Miyajima ferry terminal.
On the northeastern side of Miyajima Island, away from the busy ferry terminal area, Tsutsumigaura Nature Park combines a 200-meter beach, campground, rental cabins, and a trailhead for the 3.2-kilometer forest walk to Momijidani Park. The park restaurant serves Hiroshima specialties, and the Maruaki Suisan oyster hut lets visitors cook their own locally sourced oysters at outdoor tables. Fishing gear and boat rentals are available for those wanting to get onto the water. The island's native deer wander through the park regularly.
