銀座三越
Mitsukoshi's flagship since 1930; landmark depachika and a rooftop shrine with views over Ginza 4-chome.
Mitsukoshi's Ginza flagship, occupying the southwest corner of the Ginza 4-chome crossing since 1930. The current 12-floor building reopened in 2010 after a five-year reconstruction. The basement food hall is a depachika benchmark, with separate counters from over 80 Tokyo and Kyoto specialty makers. The rooftop holds the Ginza Mitsukoshi Shrine (Ginza Dewa Sanzan-jinja), one of the few rooftop shrines in central Tokyo, with public access during shop hours.
Rooftop shrine and garden are free; small enough to skip if rushed but the city view is unique. B1 food hall best browsed before 17:00.
