Mitsuike Park
park
三ツ池公園
Three-pond park with lush vegetation and sport facilities, ideal for picnics, walking, and outdoor athletics.
Mitsuike Park in Yokohama's Tsurumi ward surrounds three ponds with wooded walking paths and recreational facilities that pull in families and solo walkers from the surrounding neighborhoods. Its roughly 1,000 cherry trees span 78 varieties that bloom at staggered intervals from February's early kawazu-zakura through late April's yaezakura, creating one of the longest cherry blossom viewing windows anywhere in the region. Beyond blossom season, the park holds athletic fields, a small natural history museum, shaded picnic areas, and a Korean Garden with traditional architecture. It is accessible from Tsurumi Station by bus.
