Minna Island Beach

水納ビーチ
Crescent-shaped island 15 minutes from Motobu with dazzling beaches, coral snorkeling, and unhurried island atmosphere.
Minna Island sits a short ferry ride off the coast of Motobu, near the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. The crossing takes about 15 minutes, and the island has no permanent residents, so the beach stays uncrowded compared to the mainland coast. The reef directly offshore is intact and close to the surface, making snorkeling accessible even for beginners. Glass-bottom boat tours also run from the beach for those who want to stay dry. The water is clear blue-green, and visibility is strong most days. Food and drink are limited, so bringing your own is a good idea for longer visits.
