Undisturbed ancient tomb situated in a lovely public park, known for rich gold artifacts.
A keyhole tomb located in the Furuichi area that was found completely undisturbed by grave robbers. Excavations yielded spectacular artifacts, including intricate gold and silver ornaments. The tomb sits within the lovely Minegazuka Park, making it one of the more accessible and pleasant kofuns to visit.
Local tips
The park surrounding this tomb is filled with cherry trees, making it a spectacular and uncrowded spot for hanami (blossom viewing) in the spring.
