Operating since 1878 in the castle town of Matsusaka, Wadakin raises its own cattle on a dedicated farm and serves them as sukiyaki in private tatami rooms with garden views. The marbled Matsusaka beef, from cows individually pampered with beer and massages, melts at body temperature. Reservations are essential, and the multi-course sukiyaki is cooked tableside by kimono-clad staff.
