丸の内仲通り
Tree-lined boulevard of high-end shops and cafes between the station and the Imperial Palace; pedestrianized weekdays at lunch.
A tree-lined boulevard running parallel to the JR tracks between the Tokyo Station Marunouchi facade and the Imperial Palace moat, lined with about 50 high-end shops, cafes, and restaurant terraces. The boulevard is pedestrianized weekday lunch hours (11:00 to 15:00) and on weekends, with cafe terraces extending into the street. The annual Marunouchi Champagne Promenade (October) brings outdoor wine bars to the boulevard for one weekend.
Best browsed weekday late mornings before the lunch crowd. Cafe Comme Ca's terrace is a known design-magazine photo location.
