The largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, situated closest to the mountain. It is highly popular for boating, windsurfing, and cycling along its expansive shoreline. The lake is famously known as the best spot to view 'Diamond Fuji' at sunset during winter.

Rent a bicycle to ride the dedicated cycling path that rings the entire lake, offering constantly shifting perspectives of the mountain.
