A quiet lake surrounded by the dense Aokigahara forest. It is significantly less developed than neighboring Kawaguchiko, offering pristine nature and tranquil camping spots. The deep blue water beautifully reflects Mount Fuji on clear days.

Local tips

Visit the nearby Iyashi no Sato, a reconstructed traditional village on the shores of Saiko, for incredible photos of thatched roofs with Fuji behind.
