Yumotoso

Yumotoso sits dead-center in Kurokawa, in a wooden building that retains its Edo-period bones — sliding doors, low ceilings, narrow stair runs. Most rooms overlook the river or the village's central lane. The ryokan's bath is small but built into the original 19th-century stone foundation.
