Overview
Riverside ryokan with one of the largest outdoor baths in the village.
Yamamizuki sits on the western edge of the village along the upper river, with a long outdoor bath spread along the riverbank that's widely cited as one of the most scenic in Kurokawa. Day visitors using the Nyuto-tegata can use the outdoor bath; overnight guests get private rooms with their own outdoor tubs.
Local tips
The river-facing bench seats are limited; arrive at opening to claim one.
