Overview
Ryokan with a milky-blue sulfur stone bath surrounded by stones and forest.
Kurokawaso's signature bath is a milky-blue sulfur pool ringed by river stones and small bamboo on three sides. The water is naturally cloudy from the high sulfur content. The ryokan also runs separate men's and women's outdoor baths a short walk from the main building.
Local tips
Sulfur turns silver jewelry black; remove rings before bathing.
