神戸ポートタワー
Renewed harbor-view tower in Meriken Park, reopened April 2024 with a new open-air rooftop deck.
Kobe Port Tower reopened in April 2024 after a multi-year renovation, its red hyperboloid silhouette returning to the harbor skyline. The new Tiara open-air rooftop deck, accessible for the first time, gives unobstructed sightlines across the Inland Sea, the Rokko range, and the harbor lights. Programmable LED illumination runs the tower's exterior at night, syncing to seasons and events. The base now houses a permanent shopping arcade. Open until 23:00.
To see the tower's own light program, watch from the Meriken Park promenade after 20:00; you can't see your own building from the inside. The rooftop Tiara deck closes earlier than the indoor floor on windy nights.
