Kobe Kitano Starbucks (Historic Ijinkan Building)

A Starbucks inside a 1907 American colonial-style foreign residence with original woodwork and fireplaces.
This Starbucks occupies a beautifully restored 1907 Western-style residence in Kobe's historic Kitano Ijinkan district. The two-story wood-frame building retains its original hardwood floors, fireplaces, and bay windows, with each room offering a different period atmosphere. It's regularly listed as one of the world's most beautiful Starbucks locations and costs no more than a regular coffee.
Grab a seat by the fireplace in the back room on the ground floor. It's the coziest spot and most visitors don't explore past the front rooms.
