Kobe Kitano Hotel Iguarek

Iguarek is the dining room of Kobe Kitano Hotel, a former Western-style residence in the historic Kitano foreigners' district. The restaurant became known internationally after the late French chef Bernard Loiseau developed a breakfast menu here that received recognition as among the best in the world. The morning meal draws on French tradition with local Kobe ingredients: fresh-baked viennoiserie, house-cured charcuterie, soft-scrambled eggs, seasonal fruit, and Kobe beef preparations. Reservations are recommended, especially for weekend mornings. Dinner service runs a different French-Japanese menu.
