A 2013 Kengo Kuma renovation of the 1931 former central post office, preserving the building's original Bauhaus-influenced facade while gutting and rebuilding the interior into a 100-shop retail and dining complex. The 6th-floor rooftop garden has the canonical aerial view of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi facade. The 2nd-floor Intermediatheque is a free museum jointly run with the University of Tokyo, displaying historical scientific specimens and collections.
Rooftop garden free, open 11:00 to 22:00. Intermediatheque free, closed Mondays. The B1 Hokkaido shop has the most-photographed seafood depachika display.
