Kiroro Ski Resort
キロロスノーワールド
4.4Est. 300Akaigawa, Hokkaido
Overview
For consistently deep conditions, locals have always gone to Kiroro. Some years it has over 20 meters of soft stuff.
Kiroro is where Hokkaido locals go when they want deep, consistent powder without the crowds of Niseko or Furano. Some seasons it receives over 20 meters of cumulative snowfall, making it one of the snowiest resorts on the island. The terrain suits intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with long tree runs and wide-open bowls that hold fresh tracks well into the afternoon. In summer, the mountain converts to biking and hiking trails through birch forests, though winter remains the main draw.
