Located in the highlands, this museum features massive modern art installations scattered across a grassy forest. Yayoi Kusama's famous polka-dot 'Flowers of Shangri-La' is here. Visitors can walk through and touch the art in a relaxing, natural setting.

Local tips

The museum shop often carries prints and postcards of the collection. Better souvenirs than anything in the tourist shops outside.
