韓竈神社
Mountain shrine reached through a 45cm rock crevice, a 1,200-year-old spiritual passage.
Reaching this 1,200-year-old mountain shrine requires squeezing through a 45-centimeter-wide crack between massive boulders, a passage said to cleanse worries and anxieties. Steep stone steps climb through dense forest to the narrow rock crevice, where only a sliver of sky is visible. Enshrined is Susanoo-no-mikoto, who brought iron-working from ancient Korea.
