Kanucha Beach

Kanucha Bay sits on the quieter northeast coast of Okinawa's main island, near Nago, well away from the busier resort strip around Onna Village. The crescent beach is sheltered and the water is clear, with snorkeling possible directly from shore. The beach is attached to a resort but day access for swimming and water activities is available. Rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkel equipment are on-site. The surrounding bay is calm enough for families with small children, and the lower density of visitors compared to the west coast means you'll have more space on the sand and in the water, even on summer weekends.
