Oganzaki Lighthouse

Oganzaki Lighthouse stands on the westernmost point of the Yarabe Peninsula on Ishigaki Island. The site is considered sacred in local tradition as a place where gods descend, and is one of Ishigaki's premier sunset-viewing spots. Visitors can climb stairs to the lighthouse base and enjoy sweeping ocean views from the grassy clifftop plaza, with seasonal wildflowers adding color to the dramatic coastal scenery.
