Located on the Kagoshima waterfront, this aquarium highlights the marine life of the Kuroshio Current and surrounding volcanic seas. The main tank houses whale sharks, and an outdoor channel lets dolphins swim freely in the bay.

Local tips

The outdoor dolphin channel in the harbor is free to watch even without admission. Feeding times are posted at the entrance and draw the biggest crowds.
