Kagamino Park

Kagamino Park ranks among Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots, with over 600 trees that transform the hillside into waves of pink every late March and early April. The park's elevated position offers views over the surrounding Shikoku countryside, and during peak bloom a festive atmosphere takes over with food stalls and evening illuminations. Outside of cherry season, the park is a pleasant green space for walking, though it is fair to say the spring spectacle is the main reason to visit. Free admission makes it an easy addition to a rural Shikoku itinerary.
