加賀温泉郷
Nestled between the Japan Sea coast and Mt. Hakusan, a 1,300-year-old hot spring resort town in Ishikawa.
A collection of four distinct hot spring towns. Yamashiro, Yamanaka, Katayamazu, and Awazu, nestled between the Sea of Japan coastline and the slopes of Mt. Hakusan, with a history of welcoming bathers stretching back 1,300 years. Each town has its own character: Yamashiro is the most traditional, Yamanaka sits along a gorgeous river gorge, and Katayamazu overlooks a lake. The Kaga Onsen Station connects easily to Kanazawa, making it a natural side trip or overnight. Public bathhouses start from around 500 yen.
