Coastal Jomon archaeological site featuring well-preserved shell middens and bone tools.
An expansive Jomon site featuring some of the most well-preserved shell middens in Hokkaido. The excavated artifacts, including intricate bone tools, show a highly developed hunting and fishing culture. Situated on a coastal terrace, it offers great views of the surrounding bay.
