Imakin Shokudo

Imakin Shokudo in Aso has achieved fame for their Akaushi Don, a bowl of rice crowned with slices of Kumamoto's prized red beef, often consumed as rapidly as the queues suggest. The local akaushi cattle produce beef with intense flavor and less marbling than traditional wagyu, creating a different but equally compelling experience. Arrive early to avoid the longest waits.
