Hiruzen Highlands

Resort area famous throughout western Japan. These extensive highlands are situated at the base of three peaks, Mt. Kamihiruzen, Mt. Nakahiruzen, and Mt. Shimohiruzen. The area has cycling roads, hiking trails, campsites, and facilities for winter activities. The Hiruzen Highlands are home to many rare species of flowers, plants, and insects, as well as the largest Jersey cattle ranch in Japan.
