Hiruzen Cycling

The Hiruzen Highlands offer a roughly 30-kilometer cycling loop through farmland set beneath the Hiruzen Sanza peaks, with dedicated bike paths, light-traffic local roads, and regular rest areas along the way. Rental bikes include mountain, road, cross, electric, and tandem options. The full circuit takes around two and a half hours without stops, but several popular spots sit along the route including a winery, herb garden, and dairy farm. Experienced riders can take on the 100-kilometer Maniwa circuit or the Tour de Daisen race course looping Mt. Daisen in Tottori. A snow cycling tour runs in winter using studded fat tires. The Hiruzen Yatsuka Onsen makes a good endpoint after a long day on the road.
