Hiroshima City Forest Park

Go to the Yamajiro Observatory at the park's high point for views across Hiroshima, Miyajima, and the Seto Inland Sea. In autumn, the main draw is the ravine of 1,000 Japanese maples, which you can see from the 36-meter wooden suspension bridge. A shallow stream offers wading.
