Hirata Farm

Spacious fruit-picking farm in Miyoshi, Hiroshima Prefecture, where visitors can harvest seasonal fruits straight from the orchards throughout the year. The farm's offerings rotate with the seasons: strawberries from January through May, cherries in June, peaches and blueberries in summer, pears and grapes in autumn, and apples into late fall. The pick-your-own experience lets you taste varieties rarely found in supermarkets, often sweeter and more aromatic than store-bought fruit. The farm also operates a fruit-themed cafe serving parfaits, pies, and smoothies made with just-picked ingredients, and the surrounding Miyoshi countryside provides pleasant rural scenery for a leisurely day trip from Hiroshima.
