A reconstructed 1639 Dutch warehouse on the waterfront of Hirado, Japan's first international trading port, where Dutch and English merchants operated before Dejima. The building recreates the original stone warehouse using 17th-century techniques, housing exhibits on four centuries of Western-Japanese exchange in this remote island city.
