Hide Zushi
restaurant
秀寿司
Traditional sushi shop offering high-quality Oma tuna and local scallops.
Traditional sushi counter in Aomori where the focus is squarely on the quality of the fish, much of it sourced from the nearby Tsugaru Strait. The prized item is Oma maguro (bluefin tuna), regarded as some of the finest tuna in Japan, and the scallops from Mutsu Bay are plump and intensely sweet. The chef prepares each piece with quiet precision at the counter, and the omakase-style approach means you get whatever is freshest that day. At around 5,000 yen per person, it sits in the mid-range for quality sushi and delivers outstanding value for the caliber of fish.
