Hasshogu Shrine
shrine
八所宮
The main event is the autumn festival on the third weekend of October. For the evening procession, find a spot along the path to the Tsuri River to see the lanterns and Edo-period dress. The weekend also includes horseback archery. Outside of the festival, it's a quiet, local shrine.
Purify your hands at the temizuya before approaching the main hall. Left hand first, then right, then pour water into your left hand to rinse your mouth.
