Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort

Goryu is one of the ten interconnected ski resorts in the Hakuba Valley, linked at the top to the neighboring Hakuba 47 to form a large combined ski area. The terrain spans wide beginner runs at the base to challenging alpine bowls near the 1,676-meter summit, making it versatile for mixed-ability groups. The village base has a good selection of restaurants and rental shops, and the area benefits from heavy Nagano powder snow. In summer, the resort operates its gondola for access to alpine hiking trails and a botanical garden.
