Guernsey farm

Guernsey Farm sits in the highland pastures of Kuju in Taketa, Oita Prefecture, where a small herd of rare Guernsey cattle produces milk renowned for its exceptionally rich flavor and distinctive golden color. The farm's on-site shop sells fresh milk, soft-serve ice cream, yogurt, and butter that taste noticeably different from standard dairy, with a creamy sweetness that reflects the breed's high butterfat content. Families enjoy the petting areas and the chance to see the gentle, fawn-colored cows grazing in open fields with the Kuju mountain range as a backdrop.
