Overview
Ancient Shinto shrine dedicated to Nikko's sacred mountains, featuring the iconic Shinkyo Bridge.
Dedicated to the deities of Nikko's three sacred mountains, this shrine predates the famous Toshogu. It feels much more rustic and integrated into the surrounding cedar forest. The grounds include the beautiful, vermilion Shinkyo Bridge spanning the river at the town's entrance.
