Furano Flower
park
フラワーランドかみふらの
Lavender, irises, pansies, columbine, and pink-white potato flowers blooming simultaneously across hillside fields.
One of Hokkaido's iconic flower farms, this Kamifurano property erupts in lavender, poppies, and salvias from mid-June through September, with rolling hills of color stretching toward the Tokachi mountain range. July is peak season for lavender, when the purple rows are at their most intense and fragrant. Beyond the flower fields, the farm shop sells lavender sachets and essential oils, and the on-site restaurant is known for its fresh Furano melons. Entry is free, though you can pay for a tractor-pulled cart ride through the fields for a more leisurely tour.
