Tochoji Temple Great Buddha

Most visitors see the five-story pagoda and miss the main hall's 10.8m seated Buddha. The real draw is beneath it: a pitch-black corridor representing the passage through hell. You must feel your way along the walls before emerging into the light on the other side.
