Fujiidera Temple

葛井寺
The main draw is the 1,043-armed Kannon statue, displayed only on the 18th of each month. Arrive on that date to see the thousand smaller arms fanned out like a peacock’s tail. Any other day, the main hall is open but the statue is not visible.
Remove shoes before entering any hall. Look for a shoe rack at the entrance. Carry a plastic bag for your shoes if none is provided.
